The NICEIC is a non-profit making registered charity which acts under licence from the Electrical Safety Council as the industry's voluntary regulatory body for electrical installations. Approved Contractors are regularly inspected to confirm that they meet the required national standards and issue certificates as evidence that their work complies with these standards. The NICEIC operates a Complaints Procedure and Guarantee of Standards Scheme.
